CPAC: What We Do

PLANNING
Planning is a crucial component of CPAC's functions. As administrator of the HSAC, MHB, YSC, Commission on Child on Child Abuse and Missing Children, CPAC makes recommendations to Camden County and State government, as well as partnering with the Camden County United Way to ensure that the dollars and resources allotted for services are used to solve the area's most
ADVOCACY
As social service programs continue to face budget reductions, CPAC's role as an advocate for resources and solutions to community problems is vital. As requested, CPAC partners with Camden County United Way to advocate on public issues impacting Camden County citizens. More Details.....
CHILDREN'S SERVICES
CPAC manages the Children's System in Camden County, which includes the Children's Interagency Coordinating Council, Commission on Child Abuse and Missing Children, Youth Services Commission and Youth Empowerment Service.

HUMAN SERVICES PLANNING  
The County Human Service Advisory Council (HSAC) was created in 1983 by the NJ Department of Human Services. Their purpose was to involve local communities in decision-making about the utilization of finite dollars for human services. The concept recognizes that plans for local services are best forged at the local level, where community values, service patterns, and approaches to problem-solving are well understood. The approach is both community sensitive and cost effective. The HSAC is finalizing the 2005 Camden County Human Services Plan, which will be adopted by the Camden County Freeholders and presented to the N. J. Dept. of Human Services as the official plan for Camden County. More Details.....
HEALTH CARE PLANNING, EVALUATION & RESEARCH
 
Health Visions, Inc. (HVI) HVI assesses the health needs of the southern New Jersey region by conducting research and consumer satisfaction surveys, performing health needs assessment, and convening focus groups.
