Children's Planning

Children's Interagency Coordinating Council
The Camden County Interagency Coordinating Council (CIACC) was created in 1989 to develop comprehensive service plans for children with severe emotional disorders and their families in an effort to improve service coordination and provision.

Child Welfare Planning Council
CPAC has been designated as Camden County's CWPC. CWPC's are being created by the State Department of Human Services, Office of Children's Services as a planning body to assess, develop, coordinate and implement ways to strengthen families and communities to address child welfare reform.

Juvenile Multi-disciplinary Team (JMDT/Jevenile Expediting Team (JET)

The goal of the JMDT/JET is to reduce detention admissions, lengths of stay in detention and recidivism for court involved youth by maximizing use of community-based services and eliminating barriers to entry and track progress of youth.

Youth Empowerment Service (YES)  
CPAC manages YES, a partnership developed by the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the New Jersey Department of Human Services and Camden County Family Court with services provided by the Center for Family Services, Inc., and Mentor-NJ. The YES system is designated in a managed care environment to provide services to youth and adolescent 11 to 17 years of age.

Youth Services Commission
 
The Camden County Youth Services Commission (YSC) is convened by CPAC: The Community Planning and Advocacy Council, which is the official planning body for Camden County. The mission of the Camden County Youth Services Commission is "to plan and implement community-based services, sanctions, and prevention strategies for youth and their families involved, or at risk of involvement, in the Juvenile Justice System. The Commission will also advocate and work, through programming, to reduce juvenile delinquency to the improvement of the Juvenile Justice System. The YSC serves as the primary advisory body to the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders regarding the needs of the target population.

Youth Volunteer Corps
Youth Volunteer Corps of Camden County provides structured volunteer opportunities for youth ages 11 to 18. YVC and the Camden County Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) collaborate on various intergenerational projects throughout the year (i.e. the Camden Annual County Food Drive).
