NJ Safe Haven Infant Protection Act

CPAC is collaborating with the Department of Children and Families, through the Division of Prevention and Community Partnerships to promote public awareness of the Safe Haven Infant Protection (SHIP) Law throughout Camden County. Under this law, a person may give up an unwanted infant anonymously. As long as the baby has not been abused, the person may do so without fear of arrest or prosecution. For more information, please contact William James at wkjames@cpachvi.org or visit www.njsafehaven.org
